If the will has been probated in the state where the owner retained the mineral interests, please provide copies of the following:
• Death Certificate
• Letters Testamentary or Letters of Administration
• Order Admitting the Will to Probate
• Last will and testament and all codicils
• Final Decree or “Deed of Distribution”
If there is no will or the will was not probated, please provide copies of the following:
• Death Certificate
• A Completed Affidavit of Heirship that has been filed and recorded in the county where the mineral interests exist
• Last will, if applicable
