
Kurt Holsinger
Vice President of Program Management Office
Kurt joined Westmoreland in February 2016. A Project Manager by trade with close to 20 years’ experience in the mining industry, Kurt started his career with BHP at their New Mexico Coal operations as an underground miner. Since his early operational experience, Kurt has occupied several managerial roles in a broad range of operational and corporate positions, including engineering, operations planning, strategic resource planning, continuous improvement, and Director of FP&A. An experienced business improvement leader, Kurt has over 15 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to define, communicate and execute operating plans and continuous improvement programs.
Most recently Kurt was promoted to Vice President, Program Management Office for Westmoreland Mining. In this role, Kurt oversees the development and implementation of corporate wide continuous improvement programs and initiatives.
Kurt earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Project Management from Colorado Technical University and holds a black belt certification in Six Sigma.
